About

What this is

A place to run a vote where the result can be checked afterwards.

Most polling tools tell you what won and ask you to take their word for it. This one keeps a record: who voted, when, what the moderator did, and why. When the moderator publishes that record, anyone holding the link can read it.

Two kinds of vote

Point Weighted Votes are for decisions that matter. Signing in keeps it to one vote per person, and voters choose how much to stand behind their choice. Showing your name is worth more than hiding it. Explaining yourself is worth more than not. A vote cast openly and explained carries three times the weight of an anonymous click.

That is the whole idea: the platform rewards accountability rather than volume.

Light Fun Polls are for everything else. No sign-in, no points, no moderation — just a question and a link.

Why moderator power is limited

A moderator can void a vote only where somebody typed free text: an explanation, a name they chose themselves, an option they added. A vote with no text in it cannot be touched at all.

Every void needs a written reason, and that reason is published next to the thing it removed. The moderator is accountable to the same record as everyone else.
